By registering and bidding on BIDSTONE, you agree to the following rules.
You must register for each auction before you can bid. No anonymous bidding is permitted.
Some auctions require a refundable deposit. Where a deposit applies, you must pay it and be approved by BIDSTONE before you can bid.
Deposits of unsuccessful bidders are refunded in full after the auction closes. Winning bidders' deposits are refunded once their invoice is paid in full.
All bids are binding. Once placed, a bid cannot be retracted.
Bids must meet the minimum bid and bid increment displayed on each lot.
Bids placed in the final minutes of a lot may automatically extend that lot's closing time (anti-sniping).
The highest bid at auction close wins the lot, subject to reserve price being met.
A buyer's premium is added to all winning bids and is shown on your invoice.
Lots marked as VAT applicable attract 15% VAT on the hammer price, shown on the lot and on your invoice.
Invoices are emailed automatically when your lots close. Payment is due within 48 hours of your invoice.
Payment is via EFT to BIDSTONE's nominated bank account.
Collection details are provided only after payment is confirmed by admin.
Items must be collected within the specified collection window.
All lots are sold voetstoots (as-is, where-is). Descriptions and photographs are a guide only and do not constitute a warranty. By bidding you confirm that you have satisfied yourself as to the condition of the lot, and no returns or refunds are given on account of condition, except where required by law.
BIDSTONE is not responsible for items after collection has been completed.
Bidder accounts found to be fraudulent or abusive will be permanently banned.
BIDSTONE reserves the right to cancel bids or auctions at its sole discretion.
